e8 Resources Information

E8 Resources was an experiment I started with 3 amazing friends, Alex Shoer, Irving Steel and Nitin Dani. Together we started a social enterprise that identified environmental needs and matches high-potential clean technology solutions for the China market. We linked resources such as environmental experts with student interns, startups and fund managers, corporates and service providers, performed market analyses, facilitated deal setups, hosted events and buit communities, incubated environmentally focused startups such as http://seederenergy.com, http://appjamm.org, and http://greeninitiatives.cn. In the end we built a community of 25,000 sustainability professionals, executed 35 unique projects and created 5 companies. The only thing I regret is that we were a victim of our own success, all core members ended up leading their own venture and I didn't have time to find a successor when I got headhunted by DuPont with an offer I couldn't refuse. But today e8's spirit is still alive and kicking in the network that we built over the years. Several of us are still in contact with each other. Feel free to reach out and join our network.
