E-waste Producer Responsibility Organization of Nigeria(EPRON) Information

EPRON is a non profit organization set up by electrical and electronic producers in Nigeria. It is the Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) set up to implement the Extended Producer Responsibility policy and ensure the environmentally sound management of electronic waste (e-waste) in Nigeria. The raison detre of EPRON is to provide a cost effective and transparent platform for fulfilling Producer obligation as well engaging all the players in the e-waste value chain (formal and informal collectors, recyclers, repairers). EPRON is therefore responsible for facilitating product take back and making arrangements for the treatment of products according to specified regulatory standards. Our Mission To provide an industry led, regulatory compliant platform employing circular economy approaches for the environmentally sound management of e-waste in Nigeria.
