In 1973 E-tec was founded as a supplier for the watch industry and produced since the 1980s precision pin connectors for electronics (IC sockets, board- to-board connectors). In 1992 E-tec developed first test socket for BGA, LGA and CGA-chip package and announced the patents. In 1993 we founded a subsidiary in Taiwan to enlarge the product range with die-cut PCB products (PLCC, pin headers, female headers, D-Sub, switches, etc.) and opened in 2001 the first production facility in China. With over 40 years of experience, E-tec provide a high flexibility for customized products beginning at 0.4 mm pitch and short delivery times from prototype to high volume production. Thanks to its own product development department and production in Switzerland and Asia, E-tec offers a solution for almost all requirements. As an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer, quality assurance is one essential part of the production process and E-tec aim to offer products that meet the highest quality standards.
