e-Stewards Information

e-Stewards is an initiative to foster greater responsibility for electronic waste management. It was created by Basel Action Network (www.ban.org). The e-Stewards Standard for Responsible Recycling and Reuse of Electronic Equipment is the world's highest standard of achievement for electronics recyclers. e-Stewards Certified Recyclers are supported by over 70 environmental groups and corporations to date and are audited annually. Any corporation, city, or institution can also become an e-Stewards Enterprise, indicating an interest in making best efforts to always utilize e-Stewards Certified Recyclers.
