EGI maintains a 3.7 hectare warehouse and fabrication plant, a respectable array of equipments, tools and hauling vehicles, a loyal host of suppliers, subcontractors and fabricators to ensure that contracts are accomplished in accordance with plans, specifications and agreed timetables. In the field, EGI may hire skilled, semi-skilled, and other workers under a proven, mobile organization that it has adopted many years ago in the past to deliver performance with excellence worthy of its status as a Triple "AAA" contractor. As a real estate developer, EGI boasts of no less than 62 buildings to its name, mostly condominiums, residential, office and commercial types where investors, end-users and locators have benefited from, earning for EGI the moniker of "the Condominium Specialist" in 33 years of the company's corporate existence. Today, it has more projects being undertaken while other projects are still in the planning stage or in the pipeline. EGI, being a premiere construction company with the experience, has naturally been tapped by various corporate entities to construct hotels and resorts. After years of absorbing and mastering the technical aspect of constructing leisure properties, the Board of Directors of EGI, led by its Chairman and President, Engr. Eulalio Ganzon, decided that the time to venture into the lucrative hospitality business has come. Vividly, that year was 1996 when EGI City by the Sea, a prime beachfront residential and commercial complex located in Mactan Island, Cebu was constructed and one of the buildings was dedicated for hotel operations while a portion of the property was transformed into an enchanting resort. To this day, EGI Hotel and Resort, as it is now known, is one of the well-regarded destinations in the area. In 1997, Atrium Suites, a first class hotel, was constructed.
