Dzintari Concert Hall since its foundation in 1936 is a performing arts centre of Jurmala and one of the busiest concert halls in Latvia. Since The Small Hall reopening after reconstruction in 2015, the centre has presented more than 600 performances, drawing an audience of 725'000 visitors. This architectural icon, a great example of neo-classical architecture with features of national romanticism, houses high-class performance spaces complemented by a comprehensive range of professional support services. Its two main venues are the 550-seat Small Concert Hall and an open air summer Large Hall with a capacity of 2'100. Dzintari Concert Hall programming is guided by its mission – to entertain, engage, educate and inspire. The centre is also a popular performance home for arts groups and commercial presenters who hire its venues to stage a wide range of programs. Lately the Concert Hall has presented the most exciting and diverse artists, dancers, orchestras and bands. Israel Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Maestro Zubin Mehta, Antonio Pappano with the Santa Cecilia Orchestra, opera singers Elina Garanca, Aleksandrs Antonenko, Kristine Opolais, Juan Diego Florez, musicians as Joshua Bell, Gidon Kremer, Chris Botti, Intars Busulis, Laima Vaikule, John Malkovich are just a few examples of the exciting and eclectic program. We believe that music is essential to everyone and has the power to transform and change lives, to entertain and uplift, create shared experience and to educate. Our future audiences are the driving force of everything we do. We are extremely happy that educational programs are in high demand by schools and kindergardens. MICE: Dzintari Concert Hall complex with its modern infrastructure is the perfect venue for celebrations, business meetings, conferences, presentations and concerts. Concert Hall is located in the city centre of Jurmala only a 15 minute drive away from the airport and a 30 minute drive away from Riga.
