DyslexAbility Information

DyslexAbility provides a therapeutic approach to supporting learning impairments, developmental delays or learning behaviours, as well as working with neurodiverse students who have dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADD, and pervasive development disorders (autism and aspergers). Our program aims to increase language development of thinking beyond words and sentences, to the social functions of communication and language use. We understand that a student’s learning impairment substantially reduces their functional capacity or ability to communicate, socialise, learn, and self-manage. It can also affect their ability to work, study or take part in social life. For these reasons we use an intervention approach that supports each individual’s needs.
