Dynaxion Security Information

Dynaxion is a high-tech startup from Eindhoven – the Netherlands that develops a new-generation scanning solution for material identification for security purposes. To scan parcels, suitcases and freight on dangerous and illicit content such as explosive and drugs. The scanner technology is based on particle accelerator technology and neutron generation and is non-invasive and fully automated. In contrary to images produced by current X-ray scanners, Dynaxion creates energy spectra of the materials inside. Dynaxion is more specific and accurate and can detect hidden goods. Dynaxion can distinguish between milk powder and cocaine or between maple syrup and nitroglycerine. Dynaxion increases the efficiency of the operational screening process, resulting in lower costs and higher throughput with extreme detection accuracy. Dynaxion is 1 of 8 finalists in the USA Opioid Detection Challenge. Yearly more than 60.000 people in USA alone die from overdoses opioids of which a large part is transported via international mail and parcels. Current screening methods are not accurate enough to detect most of these illegal transported opioids. Dynaxion is planning to prove that we can. Dynaxion has the aim to increase global health and safety.
