WHERE WE BEGAN... The Dylan Joel brand first came about when founder Dylan noticed a severe lack of gender-fluid fashion labels despite the growing demand. Dylan wanted to create clothing that is no longer stuck within the traditional categories of menswear and womenswear, but the “unisex’ collections that had been emerging mostly consisted of basic, uninspired pieces. He saw that it was time to break with tradition, and so in 2018 the Dylan Joel brand was born with the intention of producing clothing without labelling as “male” or “female” and never sacrificing style or imagination. WHAT DRIVES US... Everything we produce for you is designed to free you of restriction and push through the everyday boundaries you face - all while flattering your style and each twist and turn as you enter and light up the room. We live by the idea that you are the designer of your own wardrobe, and we have been adding a splash to hundreds of them since 2018. Our loyal customers have come to know that we go beyond seasonal collections. The Dylan Joel signature transcends trends, instead we offer you impactful pieces to add to your wardrobe that you can wear however and whenever you choose. ACCESSABILITY... There are almost 8 billion people on the planet, every person brings something unique. We are always working on becoming more inclusive and while we can’t cater to every single person’s needs just yet, we are making moves all the time towards full accessibility with both ready-to-wear and made-to-order options available. We want to be 100% inclusive here at Dylan Joel, if there is something you feel we could do better, please let us know – we welcome all opportunities to learn and grow. SUSTAINABILITY... Slow fashion is the way forward. We don’t like to overproduce clothing as we hate waste – we pride ourselves on unique pieces. We also hold onto the scraps from old collections and these are repurposed as we find new ways to reinvent the classics.
