DWACS was founded in 1997, born out of a hobby of constantly taking things apart and putting them back together in different and inventive ways. This naturally led to the world of open source software. Since our founding, we have always advocated for free and open source software. However, we also believe in using the right tools for the job, be they commercial or open source. Our team is comprised of experienced subject matter experts from many walks of life. We are dedicated to discovering new technologies and continually reviewing and refining our tried and true technologies. We are also dedicated to supporting our local community. We have helped many local organizations including Hillside Festival, Guelph Humane Society, Guelph Partnership for Innovation among many others. Our suppliers have been carefully selected to ensure that they are in line with our core beliefs. Finally, we are committed to environmental stewardship and to that end, we have achieved over 99% recovery when it comes to decommissioning hardware. We are also embarking on a solar project to augment our network in Spring 2009. Thank you for spending the time to research our little organization!
