Durham School is a co-educational boarding and day school for girls and boys aged 3-18. It has helped to educate young people from the North East of England and beyond since 1414. We believe a Durham School education leaves its ‘MARK’ on our current and former pupils, instilling Moral Integrity, Ambition, Responsibility and Kindness. Our mission is to provide young people with a complete education; one that gives them an aspiration for achievement, a respect for others and above all confidence for life. To do this we work as a community of current and former pupils, parents and staff to provide a world-class education for pupils inside and outside the classroom. We are a registered charity (No. 1023407) and offer a range of bursaries and scholarships to support pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds.
