Dupoint was founded in Stockholm, Sweden, 1999 by the entrepreneurs Einar Åsman, Aras Kazemi and Trille Fellstenius. Dupoint's business concept was to provide cost-effective solutions for improved work processing, communications and new business possibilities through the world wide web. In 2001 Dupoint launched the first release of the product Dupoint i.site; a web content management system for public organisations and medium sized companies within different branches of the Swedish industry. At the same year Dupoint became an Open Text partner and started to work on solutions for digital workplace and enterprise content management. At 2004-2005 the company was one of the leading competitors in Content Management at the Swedish market. In 2006 Dupoint was acquired by Litium – one of the main leaders in e-commerce and content management in Sweden.
