Dunlap Research Information

Founded in 1948, Dunlap Research provides research and consulting services to government, private industry, and the legal profession. We specialize in the application of behavioral and systems sciences to help our clients in understanding and solving problems. As pioneers in the field of human factors research and engineering, our primary focus has always been on the human element. Our emphasis has been on the development, enhancement, measurement and evaluation of safety, human performance, motivation, and health. While our projects range in size, scale, and industry, we are recognized as leaders in transportation safety research. This includes evaluating the safety and functionality of emerging technologies, the psychology behind various traffic safety behaviors, and improving accessibility features of cars, bikes, buses, and other modes of transportation to build safer environments for all roadway users.
