DUNDONALD PHYSIOTHERAPY LTD Information

Dundonald Physiotherapy was established in 2000. Our multidisciplinary team comprises 4 Chartered physiotherapists, including a Women's Health Specialist. This team is supplemented by a practice manager and a full-time receptionist. All our physiotherapists are fully qualified and registered with both the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). They are governed by a professional code of conduct and are fully insured. Continuing Professional Development is very important at Dundonald Physiotherapy. All of our physiotherapists regularly attend professional courses to update their knowledge and to learn about new evidence based techniques to enhance their treatment and rehabilitation skills. Case conferences and in-service training sessions also ensure our Physiotherapists are fully up to date with relevant treatment modalities. Our physiotherapists are trained to recognise any conditions that may require further investigative tests or a referral to a specialist. Over the years we have established excellent communication channels with specialist consultants. We are therefore able to provide our patients with quick access to radiological investigative scans including Ultrasound, MRI, X-ray and/or CT. This facility aids diagnosis and accurate patient management. In 2019 we became one of the first clinics in Northern Ireland to be awarded "Quality Assured Clinic" status. This is a clinical audit process conducted by the University of Brighton in conjunction with PhysioFirst. It is a continuing audit and QAC status is reviewed annually. This confirms the care and attention we give to every patient and the results obtained from the treatment dispensed.
