Dundalk Dog Rescue was set up in 2005 by Ann Moore and is run by her and a small group of volunteers. Our daily purpose is to do whatever possible to rescue unwanted dogs from dog pounds in the north east of Ireland. We take dogs into our care that have not be reclaimed and have no offers of a new home. As we don't have our own premises the dogs are cared for in commercial kennels or where possible a foster home. We then look to rehoming rescues, mainly in England, to see if they can offer the dog a place where they can find their forever home.
