Fletcher Building has proudly called New Zealand home since 1909, and today, we employ more than 9000 people across New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific. Our operations span the manufacture and distribution of building products across Australia and New Zealand, from insulation that helps keep homes warm and dry to cement, a fundamental building block of structures around the world. We also operate retail businesses that supply these products, and many more, to tradespeople across the Tasman. Beyond products and distribution, we build homes, create communities, improve productivity and contribute to the quality of life of people living and working in cities and regions across our markets. Fletcher Building is dual listed on the NZX and ASX and operates through four divisions – Light Building Products, Heavy Building Materials, Distribution, and Residential and Development. Mitre 10 has been a part of New Zealand’s home improvement culture since 1974. We are a co-operative of small and medium businesses owned by Kiwi families across the country, with 84 stores and a national support centre employing over 8,000 people and supporting more than 500 local suppliers throughout New Zealand. The country’s largest home improvement and garden retailer, we are also rapidly growing our trade and commercial business. As one of NZ’s most trusted and reputable brands, we are invested in the communities we are part of. Mitre 10 Helping Hands provides practical hands-on help to schools, sports clubs, charities, and community groups.
