Dubarah Information

Dubarah is a service-based network built on a deep understanding of individual challenges and needs. It works to develop the most suitable solutions through a collaborative digital platform that connects those facing difficulties with those who can offer help. Dubarah was founded in response to an urgent need that emerged during the Syrian revolution, where relentless bombing of civilian areas forced millions of Syrians to flee their country and make life-altering decisions about asylum and migration to unfamiliar lands. This situation highlighted the importance of creating a network that could support them and help them rebuild their lives in new environments. In recognition of this impactful work, Edward Edilbi, the founder of Dubarah, was awarded the prestigious Ashoka Fellowship, becoming the first Syrian to receive this global honor. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) in the United Kingdom.
