DTU Physics Information

We focus on physics areas of fundamental interest and with clear application and innovation potentials. Our areas of strength include quantum technology, catalysis research, sustainable energy, and materials science. It is our ambition to perform research, innovation and offer education at a high international level, thereby contributing to DTU’s mission of bringing value to society. DTU Physics has the main responsibility for the Engineering Physics BSc education (Danish: Fysik og Ingeniørvidenskab) and for the introductory physics course for the majority of DTU’s students, giving students a solid scientific foundation along with experimental skills useful for their studies at DTU.
