DTE Materials is decarbonizing concrete via the aggregates which makes up ~80% of concrete volume. DTE manufactures a carbon negative bioaggregate derived from forest and agriculture residues through its Clearwash process, which makes cellulose and concrete chemistries compatible. Our flagship product, the StoneFiber block, replaces sand aggregates to make concrete products lighter weight and lower embodied carbon without compromising on cost.
