Ds Connections Nw Information

Ds Connections Nw strives to be a network of support, information and resources to improve the quality of life of persons with Down syndrome. We provide a single point of connection for people with a Ds diagnosis, their families and the community at large through diverse social and informational opportunities, and by networking with key members of our professional and medical community. Founded in March of 2009, Ds Connections Nw was started by two mothers who believed in the simple purpose of keeping their children, their families and their friends connected through the love of their children diagnosed with Down syndrome. Two years later we incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and our scope grew to become a strong, viable connection of resources and information for persons with Down syndrome, their families and our surrounding community. Today, our organization serves hundreds of families, individuals and the professionals who support them with an outreach stretching from Spokane and Coeur d'Alene to the northern regions of Sandpoint and Boundary county.
