Daniel Ryan is a Web & iOS Developer from Chattanooga, Tennessee using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Python, Django & JSON. Achievements include guest lecturing with the University of Tennessee Chattanooga Web Development Program. I was also interviewed as an industry expert for Teach the Web by Leslie Jensen-Innman, a book about web standards and techniques with information from experts in the web industry. Aside from my freelance work, I have contributed in my community as a leader in the forefront of local programs and events. I am highly involved in creating community within the city of Chattanooga by utilizing technology to provide social forums. This includes currently serving as the Advertising & Branding Chair of YPAC, who nominated me for Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010. As a founding organizer of ChattUp, a social event for local Twitter and Facebook users, I have helped develop a way for the community to meet in social event gatherings throughout Chattanooga. I am also the founding director of BarCamp Chattanooga, a forum for the web community to share ideas and discuss various topics. I currently contribute time as the Technical Director for the Chattarati.com website, a Chattanooga blog dedicated to social and political activities happening throughout the city. Finally, I am serving as an advisor to this year's 48 Hour Launch and a judge for the 2011 Chattcha Social Media Awards.
