dRural is a Horizon 2020 project started in January 2021 with the scope of injecting new chances for the development of European rural areas and communities. The project will co-develop and implement a service marketplace to connect the ecosystem of potential end-users and service providers in rural areas, delivering a broad spectrum of services while boosting economic growth and improving citizens’ quality of life. The future multi-service solution will be set up in four rural regions of Europe: Extremadura (Spain), Jämtland Härjedalen (Sweden), Dubrovnik-Neretva County (Croatia) and Region Gelderland Midden (The Netherlands). The platform will be demonstrated in each region to ensure its adaptability to regional needs while integrating local service providers.
