Drum Preserve works by applying a light pressure nitrogen "blanket" to race fuel or other liquids utilizing a custom brass low output pressure nitrogen regulator. The bung assembly has a failsafe high flow 10 psi pressure relief system eliminating the possibility of accidental drum over-pressurization. Nitrogen under light pressure prevents the evaporation of light end components and reduction of actual Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP). Nitrogen blanketing eliminates contamination by water vapor, dust and O2, and allows pressurized dispensing without fluid loss or contamination. Drummed liquids stay fresh indefinitely. A 55 gallon drum of liquid can be preserved and dispensed at a cost of only a few dollars worth of nitrogen! Drum Preserve can also be used to safely purge air from the headspace in drummed materials prior to sealing.
