Drum Point Marina has been family owned and operated since it was purchased by Jim and Lin Kathenes back in 1984. Since then they have worked to make it into what it is today, which has included numerous improvements to the marina and waterfront location, including docks, above ground fuel tanks, pump out stations, and on and on and on. Their son, Jim Jr. began working with the Marina as he grew up, and focused more on the service end of the business. This has led to a new service and repair shop that has been built at our inland storage facility. He now runs the service department at the marina and is a Mercruiser Certified Technician. The marina continues to grow to meet the needs of our customers. It has remained a very family oriented place, with many of our customers becoming great friends over the years. Also it is always nice to know that whenever you visit us you will find at least one of the owners there, available to help you and answer any questions you may have. We would also like to thank all of our customers both past and present for helping us to celebrate at our 25th anniversary Marina Party in August 2009!
