Drum Drum Information

Drum Drum was originally located in Lava St Warrnambool and was the vision of the owner, Barry Galbraith, an established musician in the south-west having many years of performing and teaching experience, also a long history of working in music retail. In December 2007 Drum Drum moved into a bigger custom fitted premises at 167 Fairy St. Warrnambool providing eight fully equipped teaching studios and a much larger floorspace dedicated to retail, allowing a very long term plan to begin. This meant the need for more teachers to cater for the ever growing student base, so the idea was to train some of the older and past students to help. To date the teaching staff are qualified to minimum G5 level in ANZCA and/or VCE equivalent, and are passionate, experienced working musicians. Being a major part of the original vision for Drum Drum, the teaching department offers excellent levels of instruction on drum-kit, auxiliary and hand percussion. Drum Drums Retail Show-Room includes many of the major brands associated with drumming worldwide and most importantly all servicing can be done in-house, as tuning and repairs are our specialty.
