DRS is short for Design Research Station. 22 is just about the right number of directly involved people, including the three initiators Renate Boere, Ed van Hinte and yet to be determined Number Three. DRS22 in The Hague works together with starting creatives from varying disciplines on design research projects. Simultaneously they have the oportunity to develop their own practices, with guidance by the initiators. The projects are related to each other and concern lightweight building, public space design and communication. Participants explore new possibilities. They apply their newly applied knowledge and experience in practice. On invitation specialists, as well as the general public contribute in various ways. Thereby they give rise to reflection and ideas maturing.
