Drouin Primary School Information

On behalf of the staff and School Council of Drouin Primary School I would like to welcome all children and families who are just beginning an association with us, or who are already an important part of our school community. I am honoured to be the Principal of Drouin Primary School and look forward to the opportunity to assist in the development of the children in our care. All the staff at Drouin Primary School are enthusiastic, highly professional educators who bring a wealth of knowledge and commitment to their role of guiding, challenging and supporting our students through a diverse, rich and engaging curriculum. Our staff undertake regular professional development to ensure our curriculum and extra curricula activities reflect the most up to date effective practice. Our students are highly motivated and encouraged to be responsible and independent learners. It is the aim of our school to create a confident and well-informed student voice that is underpinned by our school values of Integrity, Persistence, Cooperation, Resilience and Respect. The School Council is committed to maintaining and continually improving the school, its facilities and equipment for the benefit of our children. A strong sense of community has led to many successful programs involving our parents in roles as helpers in the classrooms, in the canteen, the vegetable garden, excursions, camps, and other special events.
