DRIFT builds businesses and brands for current and former professional athletes, aswell as providing digital and creative consultation to sports brands and start-ups. Our mission: We are on a mission to build and grow successful brands and businesses for athletes. We’re also committed to supporting, educating and inspiring athletes in their lives after professional sport - whatever path they choose to take. Who we are: Fusing our expertise in digital marketing and go-to market with our love of sport and storytelling, we are an athlete-led digital agency dedicated to helping professional athletes succeed away from the pitch, track, course or court. What we do: We combine design, content and business strategy to take start-up ideas to market, and guide athletes towards a successful career in business. We’re also connecting sports, tech and entertainment brands with athletes for investment, sponsorship, ambassador, product development and product testing. Why DRIFT? The name DRIFT stems from our founder Joe Davis’ experience as a professional footballer and the subsequent transition away from a 10-year career in elite sport. Without clear direction and a loss of identity, retired athletes are in danger of drifting through life without ever rediscovering their purpose. This is what we call ‘the drift’ and it forms the basis of why we were founded - to help you avoid it and to instead lay the foundations for a successful business career alongside, or after, professional sport. 📍 Based in Lytham St Annes, but crafting brands and businesses for athletes around the UK.
