Drench-Mate Information

Drench-Mate was invented by the current owner Bernie Mulder in the spring of 2000 after being challenged by a dairyman who did a lot of drenching but was unhappy with the existing technology used in the dairy industry. The first Drench-Mate prototype was very different from what it is today. Most of the improvements came over the first year or so after getting feed back from dairymen on what they liked and what they didn't like. After six years of building Drench-Mate equipment our customers and dealers asked if we could market a high quality drench product to market along side the equipment since Drench-Mate was getting to be a very recognized brand name. What has come out of that is the current Drench-Mate Drench. In the early spring of 2008 we recognized that there was also a need for a drench product that could be offered to cows minutes after calving as a voluntary drink without having to manually drench them. We now offer a Drench-Mate Drink that helps jump start those fresh cows immediately after calving. We built our first units in the garage of our home and soon moved to small shop in Lynden, Washington and from there we grew into our current shop and office in Sumas, Washington where we build both our smaller Drench-Mate I as well as our larger units for large dairies.
