Skyland Trail is a nonprofit mental health treatment organization based in Atlanta. For more than 35 years, we have been inspiring people with mental illness to thrive through a holistic program of evidence-based psychiatric treatment, integrated medical care, research and education. Skyland Trail serves adults ages 18 and older and adolescents ages 14 to 17. We’re not a hospital or lock-down institution, we’re one of the nation's top mental health treatment centers – a voluntary treatment community of clients finding new ways to overcome the limitations of their illness and reclaim their lives. But success is built on a two-way commitment – we’re committed to our patients and we ask our patients to commit to our approach. Our advanced therapy program offers five customized one on one therapy sessions each week, in addition to dynamic outdoor group therapy sessions.
