Creative Visions creates a more caring, just and sustainable world through creative activism - the power of media, art and education to drive positive change. Creative Visions empowers creative activists worldwide to raise awareness of critical issues and drive positive change through impact storytelling. The term "creative activist" was first coined by Kathy Eldon after her son Dan Eldon, an artist, adventurer and activist was killed in Somalia in 1993 while working as a photojournalist on assignment for Reuters. To honor his legacy, Kathy and her daughter Amy, founded Creative Visions in 1998 to help others like Dan use media and arts to create meaningful change around the world. A 501(c)(3) and United Nations NGO, Creative Visions is a global force for creative action. Creative Visions manages a powerful network of activists, artists, filmmakers, advisors and organizations. Art Beyond Sight's mission is to make art, art history, and visual culture accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired. Our goal is to provide and promote the tangible benefits of art education, museum visits, and art making for children and adults with sight loss – to give those who cannot see equal access to the world’s visual culture and the opportunity to experience the life-enhancing power of art. Headquartered in New York City, Art Beyond Sight carries out its work as the leader and facilitator of an international, multi-disciplinary collaborative of sighted and blind museum professionals, artists, educators, scientists, scholars, rehabilitation professionals, and blind and visually impaired advisors throughout the world. Art Beyond Sight: 1. Creates accessible art, art education programs and educational materials for museum and other cultural institutions requiring guidance on developing programs for audiences that are blind or visually impaired. 2. Coordinates the activities of the Art Beyond Sight Collaborative and Awareness Month, an annual series aimed to raise awareness of art access issues and developments. 3. Advances knowledge on issues of blindness, sensory perception and the capabilities of blind people by providing a forum for professionals from multiple sectors to collaborate and share ideas. 4. Encourages people who are blind and visually impaired to create art and helps them promote their work.

Inner-City Arts, widely regarded as one of the nation's most effective arts education providers, is an oasis of learning, achievement and creativity in the heart of Skid Row, and a vital partner in the work of creating a safer, healthier Los Angeles. Under the guidance of professional teaching artists, Inner-City Arts’ students are immersed in a safe and supportive environment where they engage in a variety of visual and performing art forms in studio and theater settings. Children who attend Inner-City Arts develop skills that are highly valued in the 21st-century workforce such as collaboration, creativity and critical thinking. Inner-City Arts’ services include classes during the instructional day for elementary students, after-school, weekend and summer workshops for teens, and creativity-based professional development for educators.
