James Cennamo, DO, received his medical degree from the University of New England in Maine. He then went on to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, for his internship. At St. Vincent's Hospital in New York City he completed three additional years of residency. After becoming board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he began his career in general internal medicine and primary care. He advanced his practice skills to include alternative medical therapies and discovered that a holistic approach was more fulfilling to his patients. Combining all of his education and skills, Dr. Cennamo incorporated anti-aging medicine into his practice and became a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

I am a registered nurse healthcare consultant and case manager with a focus on geriatrics and dementia care. My goal is to bridge the gap between the patient and their health care system by offering in-home wellness checks, disease and medication management, geriatric care navigation and advocacy. I develop comprehensive and individualized care plans to assist clients reach their health and wellness goals while teaching them how to navigate their health care system. I also offer consulting services for businesses on Home Care, Assisted Living, Developmental Disabilities Administration and Health Care Litigation. I can assist in improving policies and procedures, quality assurance and maintaining The Joint Commission Accreditation. As an expert nurse witness, I review medical records for deviations from standards of care, summarize findings and explain medical terminology. I also teach the Medication Technician Training Program for Certified Medication Technicians monitored by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
