A non-profit Counseling, Education and Training Center for Loss, Trauma and Life-Changing Experiences. Founded in 2000 by Dr. Brenda Rabalais, Lee's Place is named in honor of her son, Lee, who died of bone cancer at the age of 14. It is the mission of Lee's Place to provide counseling and educational services to those who are adjusting to a loss. These losses may include divorce, abandonment ( foster care children and adoptees), death, imprisonment, and life transitions. Fees for counseling are adjusted according to client's ability to pay.
