Mercado is originally from Venezuela. He earned his Medical Degree in 2005 in the Universidad del Zulia being part of the honored student board. He came to the United States where he started his new journey on his career. He started to work on the medical field while he was preparing for the ECMFG certification back in 2006 as a medical assistant at 2 locations. Then he started to explore new job opportunities such as surgical assistant, where he worked with an important Dermato-pathology Dr. William Steele in Orlando, Florida for about 2 years.
