Dr. Java Coffee Company was started in 2002 when Bright Plaza Pharmacy moved from a 900 square foot location into the current pharmacy location. There was extra space available and Dana Porter came up with the concept of creating a coffee house atmosphere for patients to enjoy while they wait for their prescriptions to be filled. Since then, patients, nurses and local patrons have come to love the personal connection they have with the employees at Dr. Java and the incredible tasting beverages and pastries being served. We are located in the bottom floor of the PIH Whittwood Building inside Bright Plaza Pharmacy and look forward to seeing you soon.
