Founded in 1981 by Massimo Portolani, DPS-Promatic started manufacturing Digital Portrait Systems (hence the name DPS) and then followed with coin operated weighing scales in 1985 (the firt colour video scale to be approved by british weights and measures was ours). Since 1999 we manufacture autonomous weather stations, solar powered and connected to the GSM/GPRS network. We have designed and manufactured several amusement machines and machines designed for special events, like the Bocca della Verita'. Currently we manufacture weighing scales, weather stations and devices connected to the internet (iot).
