Downtown Design Information

Downtown Design is the region’s annual destination for original, contemporary design, attracting leading design professionals and industry decision makers from the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and beyond, alongside top-tier public visitors. The key platform for international and regional brands, manufacturers and independent designers to gain exposure and direct access to active AID professionals in the market, alongside relevant end-consumers, Downtown Design presents the latest in high-quality, with an emphasis on commercial opportunity and brand visibility, every November. Taking place annually at the d3 Waterfront Terrace, Downtown Design is the commercial centerpiece of Dubai Design Week, the region’s most important creative festival reflecting Dubai’s position as the design capital of the Middle East with a programme of wide-ranging design-related events, attracting over 100,000 visitors to Dubai Design District (d3) over the week. The 2023 edition of Downtown Design presented the latest in contemporary design to the region in its most elevated showcase to date, with an emphasis on commercial opportunity and access to the most relevant audiences. Visitors explored high-end products and innovative solutions for the home, workplace and hospitality sectors, by over 300 renowned brands, studios and individual designers from around the world. The exhibitor showcases were complemented by talks, panel discussions, masterclasses, networking events and creative pop-ups and immersive installations and experiences. Downtown Design's tenth edition is set to take place 6-9 November 2024.
