Douro Prime Lda. was founded in July 2008. The founders are Miguel Côrte-Real, Manuel Matos de Carvalho, Alexandra Martins and the Mariz family, who have been vineyard owners in the Douro for several generations. Our partner Manuel Matos de Carvalho is the winemaker. The Douro Prime products currently in the market include the red wines Inquieto DOC Douro Reserva, Inquieto DOC Douro Reserva Touriga Nacional, and the white wine Tranquilo. In the Portuguese market, these wines are available in top restaurants, select wine merchants and gourmet shops, but we are open to proposals for partnership in additional regional or national markets. We have some distribution internationally and are seeking to increase our international network. Douro Prime Lda. is based in the city of Porto, at Rua Alfredo Allen nº 455/461, 4200-135 Porto, but our production is in the sub-region of the Douro Superior.
