The Douglas School District is a public school district located close to Ellsworth Air Force Base, which is about seven miles east of Rapid City. Douglas currently serves approximately 2,700 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade who live on Ellsworth Air Force Base, or in the surrounding areas of Rapid Valley, Box Elder and the adjacent ranching land. We employ approximately 400 employees in a variety of positions, hours, and schedules, with competitive benefits for qualifying employees.
