We launched in 2013 with the mission to accelerate the Startup Culture in Pakistan. Mission Statement - Creating an ecosystem that fosters inspiration - Providing proximity to smart and intellectually curious people - Enabling networking, collaboration, leads and employment opportunities - Providing a hotbed for innovative ideas - Provide seed and early stage investments Vision Over a 3 year period: - Provide mentorship and incubation facilities to approx 30 companies each year - Provide funding and operational assistance to approx 30 companies - Successfully raise Series A funding for 10 or more of our funded companies We achieve the above Mission through 3 separate activities: Co-working DotZero is a not-for-profit project operated by FIT committed to creating a community space for Pakistan’s enterprising youth that: a. Provides a vibrant environment for entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts to gather and exchange ideas; b. Is a hot bed for technology innovation; and c. Offers a platform that encourages collaboration, enables networking and creates employment opportunities; Networking & Mentoring DotZero seeks to connect experts, visitors, speakers, and trainers with young professionals and start-up companies for a robust and continuous exchange of ideas. It also seeks to establish a set of targeted themed ‘Incubation’ programs in areas such as mobile gaming and development, ICT for Development, and women entrepreneurship to help, create and influence new start-ups in these areas. Financial Investments Through our for-profit investment program, we invest in pre-revenue and early revenue companies by investing nearly 100% of their investment requirement against a 5% to 20% equity
