DoSeat.com is India's premier bike marketplace, based out of Mumbai. DoSeat offers new, used bikes and services and accessories related to bikes. DoSeat aims to organise the bikes market for existing bike-owners making it easy for them to own, trade, buy and sell bikes. And the fact that there are a 100m bike-owners in India today makes this a huge opportunity to pursue DoSeat offers 100% certified used bikes - both from business and consumer sellers cause its much easier and efficient to buy certified bikes. With the right combination of technology and customer orientation, the Company is pioneering various products, relevant for bike-owners. E,g. Free Doorstep Services for bikes, across the country and loads more to come. The bikes marketplace is an ecosystem that is fragmented and localised and DoSeat strives to convert it into a thriving and organised one with a huge focus on scale and unit economics. The Company is based out of Marol (Andheri) in Mumbai and currently runs a tight ship with 25 folks (Jan 2016). Its founders include Amit Bhartiya (ex. eBay Motors and Komli) and Kalam Shah (ex. Komli and Webaroo). The employees are a great mix of marquee MBA and Engineering degrees, huge Ops experience and young first-timers eager to ride the start-up wave.
