Crisp County Leisure Opportunities strives to provide events and activities for local children of all ages. We strive to provide them with the most enjoyable sporting experience that is safe and educational. It is our hope that you, the general public, will continue to support our youth activities and events through your continued cooperation and participation. In the Spring of 2007, Crisp County opened the Crisp County Youth Ball Complex, that is second to none in Southwest Georgia. Located at 1512 East 8th Avenue, the complex also has a convenient entrance on Pecan Street adjacent to the Farm Bureau Building. The complex is positioned on a 77-acre site at I-75 exit 102 for easy access to the Interstate and the Cordele Business District. The complex was primarily funded by a one-cent Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) and a Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant. The complex boasts nine lush fields that are meticulously maintained and ready for use at any time. The South Pinwheel has five lighted 200' fields with 8' high outfield fences, concession stand and scorer's tower. The North Pinwheel has two 300' fields and two 360' fields all with 8' fences and concession stand and scorer's tower.
