Doo Interactive was founded in Bordeaux in 1998 by Stephane Jacob to create rich media content, online and offline, with the technology of the day and often ahead of it. It was among the first companies to produce 360° virtual tours with iPIX technology, and in 2001 it built its own 360° video camera and software, about a decade before 360° video went mainstream. Its work covered space, hospitality, cultural heritage and industry, for clients including CNES, ESA, Accor Group, CEA, TF1, Relais & Châteaux, ALDAR and Dubai Municipality. Projects included 360° imagery of more than 750 Accor hotels worldwide, zero-gravity flights, the Guiana Space Centre, and the Lascaux and Château de Biron CD-ROMs. Doo Interactive's productions were teamwork, and many of its former team members now lead in IT, security, video production and education.
