‘A Rivierduin has traditionally been a place where people seek shelter and feel safer.’ GGZ Rivierduinen provides mental health care to people of all ages with serious psychological complaints and their loved ones. Our 2,100 colleagues provide care to approximately 15,000 clients in the municipalities in the regions of Alphen aan den Rijn, Duin- en Bollenstreek, Gouda, Leiden, Leidschendam, and Zoetermeer. Rivierduinen includes out patient clinics, community teams, acute care, clinics, residential wards, day activities, and a specialist department for eating disorders. Our work begins with understanding. Understanding that life is not always easy. We have extensive experience and expertise in caring for the elderly, adults, adolescents, and children who struggle daily with multiple psychiatric problems. The goal of treatment is to reduce psychological complaints, make them more bearable, and enable acceptance, so that clients can maintain control over their own lives. Mentaal Beter is een landelijk netwerk van (GZ)-psychologen, psychotherapeuten en psychiaters. Wij zijn een ambulante curatieve geestelijke gezondheidszorg (ggz) aanbieder, werkzaam in zowel de generalistische basis ggz (gb-ggz) als de specialistische ggz (s-ggz). Mentaal Beter richt zich op kinderen, adolescenten, volwassenen en ouderen. Het zorgaanbod Mentaal Beter heeft een gevarieerd en uitgebreid zorgaanbod in de generalistische basis ggz (gb-ggz) en de specialistische ggz (s-ggz). Bij ons kunnen cliënten met uiteenlopende problematiek en hulpvraag terecht. Het zorgaanbod bestaat onder meer uit behandelingen voor angststoornissen, depressieve klachten, persoonlijkheidsstoornissen, onvoldoende verklaarbare lichamelijke problemen (SOLK), posttraumatische stressstoorniss (PTSS), ADHD, autisme en eetstoornissen. Werken bij Mentaal Beter Werken bij Mentaal Beter is onderdeel zijn van één gezamenlijk doel: “Heel Nederland Mentaal Beter”. Van Groningen tot Terneuzen en van Hoofddorp tot Tilburg.
