Our process includes: Selection and Quoting A full showroom is available for browsing in the Longmont location. Visitors are assisted by knowledgeable sales personnel and provided with quotes within minutes of material selection. Template Once alignment has been reached, a Don's Custom Countertops representative is scheduled for an in home visit to confirm dimensions of the project. An advanced laser template is performed to ensure proper fit and is proven to be accurate within the width of a human hair! Fabrication Upon completion of template, a digital drawing is passed onto the programming portion of the process. The dimensioned drawing is assigned toolpaths for the CNC saw and router to follow. The CNC allows for custom angles, dimensions and curves with utmost precision. Installation After pieces are removed from the CNC they are touched up by hand and the job is ready for install! Our team has developed a no-lift system to safely and efficiently place tops into place without the risk of injury or damage. Finished counters are placed on an A-frame cart, which is lifted via forklift into our custom box truck. The box truck transports all necessary tools and material to the jobsite where a built in hoist lifts the countertops onto a no-lift cart. The cart allows for the pieces to be rolled into the correct position vertically, then lifted via electric actuator to cabinet height. The countertop is then rotated flat onto the cabinet and rolled into place.
