The seeds of Sunterra took root on the family farm over 50 years ago in Acme, Alberta. With superior hogs and industry-leading practices, the farm grew bigger and better. To showcase the top quality meat and provide customers with a unique European-style shopping experience, Sunterra Market launched in downtown Calgary at Bankers Hall in 1990. Since then we have been working tirelessly to exceed customers’ needs in our seven markets across Alberta.

The Calgary Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for families and individuals facing crisis. Once the food emergency is addressed, we refer food bank clients to our proven partner agencies and programs. Our deep collaboration and food support to hundreds of other charitable organizations that address the root causes of food insecurity aligns with our mission to work with our community to fight hunger. We are the most accessible food bank in Calgary serving families, individuals and organizations. We are not a government or United Way agency. We rely solely on the generous support of the community.

Village Ice Cream is an independently owned, local batch ice cream business in the heart of Calgary. Originally founded in 2012, Village Ice Cream has grown into 6 locations in some of Calgary’s most energetic neighbourhoods, including, Victoria Park, Britannia Plaza, Garrison Corner, Bridgeland, University District, and our most recent location in West District.
