Donna Becker Family Law Information

She obtained a Bachelors Degree cum laude in Psychology from Yale University and a Juris Doctor at Boalt Hall College of Law at the University of California, Berkeley as well as a Masters Degree in Social Welfare at the University of California, Berkeley. Her legal and psychological knowledge inform her ability to assist individuals and families with their transitions. Ms Becker was trained in mediation by Gary Friedman and Katherine Stoner of The Center in Mediation in Law in 2004. She trained in collaborative law through Collaborative Divorce Team Training in 2003. She has been a co-founder and active member of CAMP, the Collaborative Divorce Arbitration Mediation Professionals of Santa Cruz County and its predecessor group since 2002. Donna Becker was chairperson of the Family Law Bar section of the Santa Cruz County Bar Association for 5 years and has served as a member of the Professional Responsibility Committee of the Santa Cruz County Bar Association. She has served as Judge Pro Tem in Santa Cruz County Superior Court in the Child Support Department and in settlement conferences.
