Z33 creates projects, exhibitions, productions and publications by and with artists. Contemporary art, architecture, design and film are used to bring to the fore and critically examine a variety of social themes. The projects are always the result of a long-term and deepening research and lead to an extensive program of artistic activities. Z33 aims to question the norm, encourage curiosity, and provide a new frame of reference, but also seeks to provide knowledge, skills and tools to its public so as to set things in motion. Z33 has a particular focus on talent development as well as on projects that stimulate new connections between artists, designers, researchers, scientists and (urban) residents. Z33 regularly acts as curator and partner for organisations and research and educational institutions within and outside the arts field.

Vooruit is a vibrant arts center with 300,000 annual visitors. Since 1982, we have been offering countless cultural events, focusing specifically on performing arts, music, books and city & transition. Vooruit organizes 500 to 600 of our own activities annually. In addition to this, we also cooperate with a large number of partners, who complete and strengthen our offerings through our hall rental. We also have a popular Café, where anyone can come enjoy a (vegetarian) meal or drink, meet for a chat, or catch up on some work. Moreover, our central location in the heart of Ghent, makes Vooruit an ideal place to meet new and familiar faces. With a surprising programme of old masters and contemporary artists, M brings yesterday, today and tomorrow together in a public-oriented museum. As a platform for visual arts in the university city Leuven, M believes in art as a motor of society. Therefore, M is engaged to search for meaningful connections, focusing to provide an added value.
