Over the past 24 years, Dominion Models has developed into one of America's premiere dealers of 1/43rd scale vehicles. We have accomplished this by combining low prices and free shipping ( in the U.S. ) with consistently knowledgeable and reliable service. Owner Bob Hooper, himself a car enthusiast and collector, founded the business in 1990 after spending 20 years as a city planner in Florida and Virginia. Though primarily a mail order operation, visitors are welcome by appointment in our Roanoke showroom. Dominion Models focuses exclusively on 1/43rd scale, the core of the model car hobby. While white metal handbuilt models of American cars are emphasized, diecast and resin pieces appear also, as do models of European cars. In addition, we periodically offer classic model trains by Lionel and other manufacturers, as well as older diecast vehicles by Dinky and Corgi.
