Cookies To Decorate is a division of Dolce and Biscotti Fine Italian Bakery and began out of our customers love for the number one selling cookie at the bakery; our delicious soft cutout cookies frosted in our special vanilla icing. Our small bakery began in the basement of our home over 16 years ago providing wholesale cakes and cookies, servicing restaurants, diners and specialty stores in the Capital District area of Upstate New York. Word traveled fast of the fabulous cakes and cookies that became the hallmark of our bakery. After 6 years in the underground, we opened our first retail location with 2 employees, one small oven, a few mixers and a lot of heart and dedication. This was just the beginning! Our customer base and wholesale accounts expanded along with the bakery and within one year, we out grew our new location. The search was on for a new home, at which we are currently located. As our name spread, so did our cookies. The frosted cutout was a favorite, but as all trends change, we notice our customers asking for their cookies unfrosted, wanting to purchase the frosting separate. We were baffled!
